NUTRITION:
“ALL GRAIN is the staff of life.” Nutritional scientists support revelation.  A combination of whole grains is the foundation of the food pyramid.  Studies indicate that eating whole grains correlate to an 80% decrease in  heart disease, cancer, medical care, stroke, respiratory disease, diabetes, influenza, pneumonia, and Alzheimer's.  These are the leading causes of death in order.  Whole grains also cause a decrease in Parkinson’s, allergies, arthritis, infections, migraines, osteoporosis, digestion illnesses, and obesity.

Why are some people saying not to eat grains?  The grains in the grocery store are depleted, contain additives, and supply little variety. It is better not to eat them. The food company starts with something very nutritious, but the processing depletes the nutrition and adds harmful chemicals. Store whole grains and eat food “of your own make”. Twenty years ago I suffered from extreme nausea and weakness due to processed foods.  Eating grainmix has saved my health. In general, the more food we eat in its natural state—without additives—and the less it is refined, the healthier it will be for us.

FOOD STORAGE:
Grains store well in the whole form.  They stay fresh for years. What a gratifying thing it is to see cans of wheat and rice and beans under the beds or in the pantries of women. . . Such food may not be tasty, but it will be nourishing if it has to be used.

If you buy food storage and save it, it is done.  Then you store nourishing food “in case it has to be used” and buy fake products to consume each day.  After consuming fake  products you need doctors, prescriptions, and surgery for all your chronic health problems.  “He that takes medicine and neglects diet, waste the skills of the physician.” Over 80% of the health problems would be gone if we eat the grainmix food plan.  One customer confessed, “I need to buy some of this in case of a time when there is no food in the grocery store.  I said, “There is no food in the grocery store now.”  If it is so nourishing, eat it now.  Make it tasty.  It can’t help you if you won’t eat it.  According to the prophets the need to have food storage is very real.  Ezra Taft Benson gave this warning.  “Those who smugly think these calamities will not happen, that they somehow will be set aside because of the righteousness of the Saints, are deceived and will rue the day they harbored such a delusion.” Ezra Taft Benson, “Prepare for the Days of Tribulation,” Ensign, Nov 1980, 32

Store the basics in unprocessed form.  They remain fresh until prepared. For nutrition, add seedmix, seeds, and nuts to Ezra Taft Benson's recommended food for one person per year:

Buying unprocessed foods in bulk saves enough money to buy more food.

MIXING GRAINS gives you more variety and nutrition with less effort.  There are 26 scriptures in the Book or Mormon that say, “all manner of grain”.  When wheat is mixed with other grains, it makes a synergy.  For example, wheat lacks the amino acid, lysine.  Amaranth supplies lysine.

Four Methods of Preparation

  1. Grind grainmix to make pancakes, waffles, cookies, cakes, bread, rolls, tortillas, and muffins.
  2. Soak grainsprouts, saladmix, or sprout beans to make sprouts for salads, cereal, and smoothies.  Sprouting multiplies the very vitamins and minerals that are lacking in the basic recommendations.
  3. Crack grainmix to make a meat substitute or cracked cereal.
  4. Cook grains or beans whole to make soups, stews, casseroles, chili, spaghetti, and pilaf.
